The Afghan Philanthropic Association is dedicated to the direct relief of suffering, poverty, and distress amongst the Afghan Refuge Community through:
Assisted
Living
Directly supporting refugees who are living with the challenges of loss of homeland, mental health issues, social isolation, family violence or facing homelessness.
Empowering
At-Risk Youth
Engaging with and supporting youth at risk of disengagement, drug and substance abuse to build family and restoration.
Empowering
Community
Working with children, youth, women, men and aged to build community strength, respect for law and to reach out to other Australian communities as external goals for integration.
Cultural Heritage Integration
To preserve our cultural heritage and language whilst being active English-speaking members of the Australian community.

Association Rules
“Act” means the Association’s Incorporation Act 1981.
“Committee” means the committee of management of the Association.
“Financial year” means the year ending on 30 June.
“General Meeting” means a general meeting of members convened in accordance with rule 1.
“Member” means a member of the Association.
“Ordinary Member of the Mommittee” means a of the committee who is not an officer of the Association under rule 21.
“Regulations” means regulations under the Act.
“Relevant documents” has the same meaning as in the Act.
